Demand Rep. Schweikert Resign

After over two years, Rep. David Schweikert has finally admitted guilt in the ongoing investigation into his office. He admitted to 11 violations as part of a settlement.

The violations of both House rules and federal laws include undisclosed loans and campaign contributions, misuse of campaign funds for personal purposes and improper spending of public taxpayer dollars.

The violations are serious, and after lying to his constituents since 2018 and delaying the investigation to protect himself, the cost should be higher. We must demand his resignation.
